Since their whirlwind debut visit to Aotearoa in late '22, Portland's Jenny Don't & The Spurs have unleashed their new bundle of tunes The Singles Roundup, and now they're heading on back our way to treat local punters to round two.

Since their formation in 2012, Jenny Don't and The Spurs have kept a relentless schedule of recording and touring. The band recently released 'Fire On The Ridge,' out via Fluff And Gravy Records. The Spurs were founded one cold, winter's evening by Jenny and Kelly.

In 2009, Jenny Don't formed the unhinged punk rock band Don't, backed by members of veteran Portland punk groups like The Wipers, Poison Idea, Pierced Arrows and P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. Together, everyone wrote raging punk rock songs, with Jenny contributing cathartic, powerful vocals.
Jenny Don't & The Spurs rode into town and got Whammy's Back Room rocking with their own brand of rhinestone-encrusted cow-punk. Jenny and Co hail from Portland, Oregon and this was their very first show in New Zealand (they play Kumeu Live tonight and Piha RSA on Saturday) This night's show, being at Whammy Back Room, meant a later than average start time.
